My dog has a tick and I'm currious about another mark on her neck?

I saw one on her ear it's not very fat so i don't think its been there long, I'm going to get tweezers in a little bit and try to get it out, but she has had this mark on her neck that my brother and sister said looks like a scab but now I'm wondering can ticks burrow their whole body in? eww I hate ticks so much!
