Am i being unreasonable for mo for moving yards?

Depends on how long the horse has been at the new place. He needs time to settle and adjust to the new routine. But if he's been there a month or so and is still not settled, take him back to the place he knows. We had a 30+ yr old horse who we retired to a field. After 2 months he had lost so much weight and was so unhappy that we had no choice but to bring him back to the show barn. He taught walk/trot lessons up until a few weeks before he finally had to be put to sleep from OLD age. Sometimes if they know a certain routine, change is hard, even if you think the change is better for them.
