Is it possible for a cat to not know how to hiss?

I'm pretty sure it's possible for a cat to hiss, dog thinks she's a cat and got hissed at by a cat before. As far as vocolizing, I don't know how it happens but my cat used to make all kinds of weird noises and my aunts cat can say 'milk' when she wants milk..or she at least makes a noise that sounds like she's saying milk. I don't know if the vidio did anything but, my cat never saw it, he just learned on his own..or from other cats
