No, not really. Gareth Bale is great, dont get me wrong, but the Tottenham media, and British media, have far overhyped him. Two or three good games doesnt make you a Villa or a Robben. And besides, even if he was as good as they claim, our two wide defenders, Ashley Cole and Glen Johnson, would deal with him just as they do every time Chelsea or Liverpool play Tottenham.
