If the Mets get some pitching during the off-season, could they contend next season?

Honestly, I think they need to rebuild, and if they do it right, they should be ready to rock 'n roll in another 3 years. But, they need to do it RIGHT this time, and it appears that with Alderson and dePodesta running things that they have the right men in place.
