He is losing his mind (and trying to take me with him?!)?

I've been through something like this, and to be honest, the best thing you can do is leave him. It's the best for you and him. I would also call the police and maybe have them keep an eye on him if you are that worried about him. But your best bet is to cut off all connections to him.
