Fetch with ruff ruffman?

how is it fair for the people that have to stay back to take the "half time quiz" the only get 10 question worth 5 points each... and the people that go out for the challenge are able to get 100 points. i don't under stand how thats fair because it says the same amount of points are at steak but there not? so if u know why it says i fair but it isn't please tell me. ( if that didnt help ill try reexplaining it people half to stay back instead of going out for the challenge, the people out for the challenge can get 100 points. but the people in the half time quiz can only get 50? it says its fair but i just dont get how it is. plz help me to find out how its fair.
