Christians: Animal abuse in the bible?

The reason its better to quote from the Old Testament is because it is closer to being the word of god then the New Testament. The NT is changed so that it may allow christians to live the way they want. This is why the world of christianity is the way it is today, in confusion. Can't wait to read the new edition of the bible thats coming out next week. LOL!!!!!!!
